Interesting that we are thinking we can use it moderately or keep it in check when it seems fairly clear it will do most things demonstrably better than we do within a few years

Has proven helpful in drafting syllabi & organizing content for powerpoints

Disconcerting that this is the only human enterprise wherein its founders recognize a risk so existential in reach that they attempted to delimit their own power.

I'm curious to see how we might be able to deploy some AI-driven career coaching with our high school CTE students & how we might use the data that process generates to inform our decisions about developing new curriculum around their experience

I think employing AI as a basic administrative tool will be crucially important for us. I'm also in the process of creating 114 powerpoints for one-hour Zoom classes, so this came at a good time...

I hadn't given adequate consideration to how to properly frame queries

I don't  know that we'll have specific applications for this until it becomes more widely available, but the theoretical underpinnings are of great interest

To Wyatt's point, I agree & think the challenge for us in CTE is finding an inroad that is affordable & functional.

It's been interesting learning the variegated pathways AI takes both in terms of its own structure & in terms of its applications

Critical to consider the different avenues available for students, from pre-apprentice to general labor to private firms that are more concerned with professional ability than certification (which, in turn, means certification-based curriculum really has to stress the real world application over the academic).
