In preparation students should arrive 15 minutes early to test equiptment-microphones,camera ect.Electronically they can raise their hand for responseand techer will choose student who is assigned a question. Students should use chart room and not the chat area unless instructed.
A good instructoe will develop a delegator type of teaching style typicaly delegating assignments and projects for the students.
With the exposure of multiple learning tools s student will succed and with detailed understanding. Instructors can evaluated his or her classes and mofify as needed.
The feedfack help provide assessment and oppurtunties to see studnets understand the materal. The teacher can also usr in gradinging scale or discussion board.
The syllabus and its impact on the online course is very importyant. A good syllabus will manage all needs of the student, it is the framework providing consistiency in class.
The use of these ideas help develop the teacher. Chunking information instead of giving large content at once.I will also remember to keep videos at 15-20 minutes in length. This will avoid the students being cognitive confused.
The modules I have completed have enlightened me on how to better service my students both in the classroom and online. I realize that disaplinaries will be found in online students as well. Emails are a vital tool and folders to collect student data should always be part of planning.
The Asyncronous discussion allows a thing to not to happena the same time. A synschonous occurs with one student at one time or in a small group. Groups over 40 are never recommended for the simple fact that all students perfer rewarded and its difficult if groups are to large.
The sucess of the student depends on the online instructor.ythings to keep in mind are turn around time,dead line of grades,grant extentions, policies on plagiarism and teacher work hours.
