Instructional delivery examines the components of a dynamic syllabus, the importance of building an online learning community, effective communication, and scaffolding learning.

We have reviewed the importance of utilizing a course framework, testing a course-module template and course module, course-module consistency, the development and use of a learning-objects database and its function.

As summarized by Ron Mace at the Center for Universal Design (UD) at North Carolina State University “the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design.”. Guidance is provided for using these seven design principles:
1) Equitable use, 2) Flexibility in use, 3) Simple and intuitive, 4) Perceptible information, 5) Tolerance for error, 6) Low physical effort, 7) Size and space for approach and use

All course materials, LMS, slides, video, etc. must use required tools and/or assistive technology (AT) accessible to students with a variety of disabilities for their learning expierience.

Students with disabilities are entitled to equal access to post-secondary education by Individuals with Disabilities Act, Section 504 and Section 508 as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Barriers to learning can be lowered or eliminated by offering multiple options for students to process the subject matter.

Gather input from multiple sources, students, self evaluation and if possible peer review to revise course materials and delivery to improve outcomes.

Clear metrics provided within a rubric provide specific objectives for learning.

Feedback, especially specific, personalized and whenever possible, verbal will aid in student learning.

Instructional delivery success requires use of a dynamic syllabus, developing an online learning community, multiple dimensions of effective communication building scaffolds for student learning.

Consistency in module development will make the learning process familiar and approachable throughout the process.
