Love the movement towards stackable credentials. It seems that there are probably certifications which could apply accross many different content areas as well: First Aid, OSHA Workplace Safety, CPR.
Employability and Standard One generally can connect directly to our work in so many ways. Planning for Lessons and for Vertical Integration, Standards/Competencies, and Industry standards is super important.
I like the idea of a third party safety training software, because of the enhanced tracking which would be built in.
Our students can often be experiencing challenges beyond the scope we may imagine, it is important to have a variety of tools in our toolbox when responding to challenging behavior.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
