When designing online learning units, it is important for students to learn specific knowledge before moving on to more advanced courses.

The syllabus should be the first place to establish expectations for student engagement.

When there is consistency in course design, activities, and teaching style, students learn what is expected of them in any course. 

When using technology tools, it is important that the instructor matches the appropriate tool with the appropriate teaching technique or teaching style.

  I like using portfolios because it is a way to determine what students think is important regarding learning in the course.

I learned that teachers should give feedback after each assessment. This gives the students an opportunity to make a connection with the teacher and the assignment. 

I learned that a dynamic syllabus provides an opportunity for students to interact with the information and discover what they need to be prepared for in the course

I learned that a teacher shuld match the learning objectives of the course module and apply to the objectives of the course. 

Giving teachers the guidelines in how to deal with different kinds of students.  It is very helpful in order to keep a successful e-learning environment. 

A teacher has to be careful when proving feedback to e-learners so he/she will not damage the student's dignity.
