Working together as a team, allow employees the ability to learn and learn to live with each other’s likes, dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses. When they work together for a long time, the team naturally becomes more collaborative and cohesive.  

Critical thinking is a "educational goal" I have for all my students.  Being in the medical field, quick and sharp thinking are essential to success of the practice and patients alike.  

Synchronous vs asynchron would work with both scheduled class times and but allow "working employees" to complete assignments according to their schedules.  Both are great options depending on typical students vs non-traditional students.  

By getting to know your students on a professional and "somewhat personal" level - students will become more comfortable with reaching out on-line.  They will feel more connected to the instructor, classmates, and on-line experience.  

Being able to deliver on-line learning is a "learning process" by both the instructor and students.  Being familiar with the LMS is a must in order to be successful.  Creating a "mock" class has and could be helpful to beginners.
