It is important to keep discussions on point.  It is also important to provide feedback to all students in an equal and equitable manner.

I loved the idea of sending the personal message to each student by the end of the first week.

This lesson got me to think about all of the different aspects of the course that need to be made clear to students in an onnline environment.  We need to make them comfortable by eliminating the unknown.
