Activity

Trying to be as prepared as possible is something I took away from this. When the instructor's technology isn't working it can cause so much confusion and can ruin the class time.

Active learning is anything that the student does in a classroom envirnment other than lecture time. During this time using different techniques and switching it up is a good way to make sure everyone stays engaged and interested.

It's harder in an online setting for students to not fall behind, so being attentive and intervening sooner rather than later can help students be successful in the course.

Making it a habit to be interactive during the discussions will help student feel like it's more of a real life conversation.

I learned to remind myself to keep the class as interactive as possible even if it is in an online setting.

I learned to remind students of resources for them when they need it especially when doing online courses.

I need to remember to make myself flexible in my teaching styles and help out every student to the best of my ability.

It reminded me the importance of making my students feel comfortable, and remembering their names helps them feel more  at ease in your classroom as well.

I learned the importance of being prepared. Having everything aligned that way it'll be most effective for me and my students.

I have learned to just lead by example. Also to always be open to growing as an instructor and not think you know everything.
