I learned ways to manage good meeting going bad. Also leared how and when to make certain decisions. I have also learned the role of a leader in meeting. I have learned how to create a meeting agenda.

Heard about 'groupthink' for the first time. A leader must prevent if before it even happens.

Leaders are not born. Leadership can be learned. A good leader needs to understand themselves before they can understand others. Leasdership is not a 'one size fits all'. A good leader learns to mange a group of people with different temperaments.

I have learnt how to properly develop me PLDP

I have learned that I need to understand my learning style to be able to teach others. Also learnt about empathic listening. Learned more about the various learning styles and how to tell the learning styles of students.

In this lesson I learnt about my Leadership style. I also learnt about higher education, financila aid and low income students. My legacy is not built at the end of my career but through out.

I have leant that there is relationship between the leader, followers and the situation. All three must be present for a leader to have an impact.

I have learnt the various leadership styles, their stengths and weaknesses. I also have a better understanding on my style and how to make improvements. One's leaderdership style should not be based on their personality but the people thsy lead.

This leaason has taught me the difference between a leader and a manger both of which are needed in an organization. Based on my role, I am more of a manger but there are instances where I am a leader. I want to develop both skills and be efficient in both in order to be more efficient at my job.
