Extrinsic is receiving what is considered a reward
dont over reward a student
being more supportive when a student is answering
Allow the students to gear how the class is being taught that day
pairing them up so they feel comfortable doing assignments and answering questions
allowing them the say so on how the class is being conducted
I learned they are different styles of learners
Making the class fun, keeping them engaged, and being consistent will keep them interested and wanting more. I like to speed time them, play cosmetology hangman and charades.
