I think the think-pair-share idea could be used with any students with a disability, especially students with autism, anxiety, or ADHD. 

I was surprised about the myth about divorced parents of autistic children.

People with Autism, even severe levels of Autism, can function independently in many different ways.

Information about Autism has come a long way in the last 50 years.

Stress can be dealt with and reduced so that it is more manageable. 

I'm attempting to get back into the workforce after being a SAHM for 9 years. Even though I was in the classroom for 20 years prior to being at home, it is stressful to try to jump back in, especially after many of my family and life priorities have changed. 

Some of these suggestions are not practical for a teacher. If an instructor checks their email at 3pm, they may miss important and time-sensitive messages from parents, administrators, or other staff members.

If you are a practicing teacher, my hope is that you already know how to make a to do list. 

Although many adult learners are motivated, some need specific and essential help from the instructor to motivate their work, if it is challenging for them. 

A combative listener is someone who you don't want to have a conversation with, and who is not supporting you.
