The icebreaker or lead into the material can set the tone for the class and students are more likely to engage and participate.

Varying lecture times and delivery is useful. Gauging students' attention and focus have to be constantly monitored. 

Introductions can be a great first step to identifying with each other and getting a source of inclusion.

Checklists are very important and keep you organized. I encourage students to do the same. The lists can be modified as needed, so taking notes can help influence future planning.

Model to give a example of professionalism. Manage to deliver the course content so it may be logically understood. Motivate and bring enthusiasm.

Apprenticeship programs and job shadowing are important learning opportunities. Learning the ropes and rising up the ladder of success are the goals that mentors can influence.

Planning and evaluating the plan is an ongoing never-ending task. Constant improvement and refining are shared by all.
