About me

I worked with technology and telecommunication for a long time. About a year ago I started working for a School that provides education on the Home Health Care industry.

It was a big change in my life, which I consider to be very positive! I always work with the public and love to help people to achieve new goals. So this new career was my gateway to do what I like.

I know that I am new at what I do, but I consider myself fortunate and I love what I do. What I explain to my prospective students is to love what they do so you can make a difference in people’s life. And by doing that they will be better professionals in what they decide to do.

Information at your finger tips!

I finished the CM201 Course and the key to me was creating my Resource Notebook. I have printed the regulations and add to my notebook as well. On a daily basis I come to this page and look at comments and add some notes from several different persons.

Recruitment Practices Need to Change

I agreed that good ethics as being the key in recruitment of potential students. What I always mention at the school is to have a good eye contact with the applicant. Have the information on hand to present to students and explain today’s market honestly.

One of the speeches that I use with my prospective students is that fact that they are making a important decision on their lives, and the importance of continuation, Don’t Stop! keep on going. Nobody can set limitations other than us!

First Day of Class and Graduation day! The key days

Mark, Thank you so much for your comment. I see this 2 days as very important days also. When we have the first day of school it is full of excitement and questions. Sometimes teachers overlook this day. I always like to remind then how important it is this days to the students. How to present them with the new path they are going to be at. And the last day itâ€™s more like accomplishment! Wow that is wonderful for each student. ïŠ

On the first day of class we present to students the importance of being well prepared for such demanding market. One of the main topics is the importance of having all required documentations ready to start on the field, and to be available on the market as soon as possible. We list different web sites and places for the students to look for jobs. All this documentations are presented to students at graduation day, with the assurance that we are here to assist them with any of their needs and to guide them to a successful carrier.
