Acknowledging the performances of the students
Getting the students to answer or solve problems on their own making it easdier to them.
My thoughts are, if we can get our students to become problem solvers when they start their careers they would likely become more sucessfull.
Hi Michael, The employers who hire our graduates tell us that is indeed what they are looking for.

Hi Aaron, That is exactly what the employers who hire our grads are telling us! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

acknowledging and evuating their performance wether its good or bad will help the student get better at what thry are learning. constructive critisem is always helpful as long as you show them how to correct their mistakes.
Hi Tony, Thanks for your post to the forum. Yes, students crave feedback on their assessments. Actually, I see no point in giving assessments that will not receive feedback!

I completely agree! I have started incorporating scenario type of questions on exams in order to evaluate the student's problem solving skills in the specific field we are training them to be in.
Hi Junella, I really think that the scenario type questions also aid in increasing retention. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.
