Thinking of new test ideas

After completing #4 of ED 103, I have actually decided to go back and do an overview of the quizes I give in my class. Using the information given in the topic, I will likely change and re-word some of the questions I give. As a general rule, I like to use a variety of objective test examples such as multiple choice, true/false, and short answer, so the student is not bombarded with all the same as some students do better in one type than another while others do better in a different type. The mix-up gives every student the ability to see where their strengths are and the weaknesses they need to work on.

I wonder how well we would fare on our own quizzes and finals. It may give us a better incite on how our students view the questions being asked, which would aid us in writing even better questions.

Good points, Matthew! I am also going to revise my test bank of questions because of what I have learned in this module.

I would have to agree. After reveiwing some of the quizes, I think there reliability would be best represented using the information aquired in this module. Very informative chapter.

I agree. I am always re-wording my exams and quizzes. I like to construct my exams with T/F, Multiple choice and matching. I am definitely going add fill in the blank questions to the chapter tests.
