Organizing student learning groups
I liked this module because it gave me a clear pictures as to why I as an individual learn better in groups than individual study. Learning it groups really does help every student on their course content weakness.
Denise,
yes those groups can help students learn the content in a different way. They also help with group communication skills.

As a psychologist teaching in a health professions college, I strongly recommend my student to form "study groups" especially for their basic science classes: anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and chemistry as well as their professional courses. Psychological research has demonstrated successfully that learning in groups is an effective way of improving the learning and mastery of course material.
