I support your belief in using multiple senses to connect with students. The retention and application of content is much higher when students get to use more than one sense or learning preference to acquire the content or skill.

Students learn in a variety of ways. The tricky part as educators is to identify what works and what doesn't for each student and make sure we cater to those styles.

Right you are. I think this is also one of the fun parts of teaching because each class I teach is like a treasure hunt since I am looking for instructional methods that I can use to engage my students. Some work and some don't but it is for sure I have learned from trying each one.
