motivating students

I have found that when my students feel that I really do care about their success, they work harder so that they do not disappoint me. I have never said the word disappoint, but they have expressed it to me." We don't want to let you down"

Hi Lorranie,
This is a critical part of student interaction. By them knowing you care about their success and are there to support them they want to be successful. This leads to the development of rapport and a strong working relationship with the students throughout the course and beyond. Good point.
