Using a PDA to Prioritize a "To-Do" List
I use my PDA to prioritize my "to-do" list, by listing in time increments. I place a date/time listing my priorities in descending order, and engage the Pop-up feature with an audible alarm to remind me when to start on that item. Of course, I can always start earlies, or delay start by revising the date/time associated with the item. This allows me to revieew and revise the list as necessary.
This same methodology can be used if an instructor has access to a computer. MS Outlook as well as other programs can make reminders, set meetings with reminders & set tasks with reminders to help people better keep organized. That info can then be shared with a PDA if access is available. I unfortunatly have found that when using my PDA the reminders go off when I am otherwise engaged and cannot address them so the PC works better for me.
I have to agree PDA's are excellent tools to keep a well organized to do list. Many offer different features. In essence it does a great job providing a to-do list by date and time and manage procrastination.
That is such an effective way of monitoring your time and prioritizing. Good for you!
I agree with you James. I use my Iphone for my To-do lists. I could not live with out it. I sue Mobile Me which keeps all my to-do's sync'ed with my PC, phone, and web.
