cleaning list
A typed cleaning list is a good way to keep kitchns/classrooms clean. It also teaches delegation
I also use a cleaning list, it helps distribute the tasks equally and also gives each student a chance at delegation as well. I have found students like the method as well, as it is fair and they know what to do each day and cleaning goes along well as there isn't discussion about who does what.
We have a daily sous chef Cleaning list daily.
all students rotate in the cleaning of the lab.
we stop production & than each person cleans his station - than Everyone cleans the whole lab. it works really well & no one feels that they are the only one cleaning!
Our lab classes get very dirty, but students don't feel that they should clean anything. They think that because they are paying to go to school that the cleaning service should clean up after them.
I remind them I am the cleaning service, and ususally that will get some to help out. Even with that, the labs are open for work after classes and on weekends, and no one will pick up after themselves. I am really tied of being the cleaning service. I need help.
