Stress

Stress can cause health problems both physically and emotionally. Too much stress can lead to job burnout, sickness, not being able to concentrate because of fatigue, depression and lact of interest in coming to work. Everthing in your work life and personal life suddenly becomes too much to handle.

I work with others that are completly stressed out. I try to put everything in perspective before stressing over items we should not stress over.

It is so easy to feel overwhelmed with things when feeling stressed out. I find myself having to take a "time out" in order to organize my thoughts. This time out helps me de-stress and get things done.

I find the most stressful days are those when I let all the things that I can not control enter my mind. Rehashing in your mind negative things that have occurred in the past.Work related mandatory online training when done at the eleventh hour can cause stress.

I know I'm stressed when I have trouble sleeping, and then when I can fall asleep, I'm actually dreaming about being stressed! I know it's taking it's toll on me physically, which of course... stresses me out. I also know when I don't sleep well, I can't think or focus well the next day which keeps the cycle going. I can not be as productive or efficient which adds to the feelings of being out of control and you guessed it... more stress. I'm hoping to work on setting more limits, better time management, delegating more and putting myself first (like getting out of work at a reasonable time so I have more time to spend with friends and family). I guess the only way to feel more in control is to TAKE control! "Tomorrow is another day".
