good list,also,working around the house,seeing movies,cooking out,or just relaxing with loved ones.

All of them are great ideas. I especially like the idea of taking a walk outside my neighborhood.

Deborah, Walking in your neighborhood is great. It does not require a lot of time to get ready to go and when you walk outside, you are already there. It works great for people who have a hard time getting motivated to go to the gym but who feel the need to exercise.

I pretty much like all of them to relieve my stress but my favorites are listening to music, walking, singing, and praying.

I enjoy meditating and yoga. There is just a calm that comes over you when you are able to just breathe and let all your troubles slip away for the moment. I catch myself quite often sitting at my desk and closing my eyes and meditating. Even if it is just for five minutes. It makes a world of difference in my perspective of a stressful situation.

Sometimes I think what's needed most is a nap. When we're tired and wore out the stress seems to be magnified. And Yea!!!-that's free too! One more for the list.
