day one i divide the grade and i explain to the students each part of the grade.
In the content of the syllabus is where the grading explanation comes in place. If all the information the student needs to know is included in the syllabus,all misunderstandings are avoided. A clear explanation of the goals, objectives, topics, grading and policies is the most important aspect for a successful class operation.
