Reducing cheating student
I have found standing in the back of the class, and/or walking throughout the class throughout the quiz/test time has put a "watch" in the class. I have also distributed 3 versions of the test/quiz as they sit two at a table it adds a third variable to the test.
Hi Chan,
It sounds like you are effective at reducing cheating. Walking helps tremendously. It helps for students to know that they are being watched.

I have found making each student at a table by themselves and everything on the floor very useful, i give them no chance to cheat.
Hi Chan,
I use the same strategy you are. Also I have found that making the tests or quizzes using papers of different colors stop them from cheating (it's hard to fin the sam color close to you) and even makes the students happy and more excited about The tests.
Hi Helen,
This is a great tactic, and it is very effective.

Good idea I think to pass out more than one verion of a test.
After a while cheaters are fairly easy to spot. My automotive tests are multiple choice graded with a scan sheet. We have "rotated" versions with the same questions on them. This trips the visual cheaters as well as the ones who "sell" answers to the classes behind them.
I love the idea of using differnt colored paper for testing. Thanks for the idea.
