Manageing the adult learner
The interaction between the instructor and the adult student learner is very important to the students success. Being that the adult learner, is generally, older and has life experience's to reference. The younger learner, who does not have these experience's, may be more challenging to reach.
Ted, all learners have experiences by which we as instructors can tab into. The critical factor is getting to know each student and as much about their background as possible. While some students will have more to tap into, all students have some level of experiences we can use.
