Mantener a los estudiantes en linea, motivados y generando aprendizaje es complicado ya que tenemos los distractores educativos en todo momento y situación, asi que la gestión del tiempo y poder controlar estos distractores son básicos para que nuestros estudiantes realmente generen un aprendizaje óptimo y no solo cumplan por cumplir y aprobar.

My big takeaway is communication is absolutely essential for student success in the asynchronous environment. Communicate early and often. Use gamification to assist students in modeling the desired behaviors/course expectations. Provide timely and constructive feedback - areas for improvement as well as excellence in execution.

Students who are in a asynchronous course need to be good managers of their time and the instructor needs to be committed to replying to the students posts in a timely fashion and remind the students of completing assignments on time
Students definitely should be engaged throughout the course to gauge what they were taught by the materials, teacher, and fellow students. To be able to communicate with each other on an asynchronous platform can be challenging at times.
Feed back and grading is very important as well as having a presents in the class so the student does not feel alone.
I agree with the 7 principles and find that students struggle more with there is not clear or frequent communication from an online course faculty member. Clear and timely communication is key with an online course.
One of the things I sometimes struggle with is falling behind on grading when the semester gets really busy. I can see that in an online course it is essential for the students to get regular and prompt feedback on assignments since that is their primary method of contact< so I will be sure to be especially careful of that when teaching an online course!
Gamifying the content can help students feel more engaged.
We use Multisim and Labview (among others). The key seems to be very well-develop laboratory procedures, video demonstrations, a lab report template, and timely sharing of the solutions by the faculty.
This was all new learning for me, and I so very much appreciated this unit. I was mainly motivated by the suggestions to assist students with their time management.

I would provide a checklist so students can track their progress in the course and stay on track to meet all the requirements. I like the idea of creating and incorporating a course bot that answers FAQs too.
