Statutes and paperwork

I think that having legislation that focuses on fair practices is best.

I think it provides a framework for institutions to operate ethically. It also deters from any ambiguity. My interpretation lends to an idea that is focused primarily on transparency between admissions and prospective students.

I agree completely, honesty is the best policy and in the long run will earn a strong relationship with your prospective student throughout the admissions process.

Jessica,
We should conduct business with the honesty and integrity we expect for ourselves.

Sarah,

Transparency is the honest way to do business. The fair consumer practices i in place to protect both the student and the school.

Patty Aronoff

Agreed! It's good to know that our practices are meant to be in keeping with that. After all, some of us may be on the consumer end at some point or another.

Sarah,

Treat your enrollments as you would want to be treated. Excellent advice.

Patty Aronoff

I agree wholeheartedly with your interpretation, Sarah. Yours is an excellent take on it. I could not have said it better myself. Well, perhaps I could have, but I didn't.
I agree that this type of legislation is best and would go so far as to say necessary in order to establish an environment that is fair to prospective students.
