Know your Institution.
If we wish to barter in knowledge, then we as agents must be knowledgable ourselves.
If the agent does not know the programs well, it will be evident during the interview process which will negatively impact the reputation of the school. Agree ?
Reply to Sundeep Bhatia's post: I definitely agree. Having a strong knowledge base for the programs allows the agent to better ask the right questions and provide the information and guidance the prospective student needs to make the best decision.
I agree as well! Knowing the correct program information is crucial because you want the student to feel confident that they have received the right information and are prepared to make their decision. Not knowing the program information or not receiving the appropriate training can also lead to misinforming students, which can create a compliance issue. If we are not informing students correctly, we are not living up to the standards the Ohio board has set for us.
