Leads
How do you determine who gets the leads when calls come into the office?
Rose, That is a great question! What is your current process?
Dr. Jean Norris
Our School Director gets the leads from our website and distributes them to us.
We split the leads by the alphabet and adjust it accordingly. I want to know immediately that if Jane Smith calls in, she belongs to the rep who has the "S's" because I do not want to let too many valuable seconds or minutes go by because I'm fumbling to find the assigned rep. We do not have a sophisticated software program that allows for a few clicks on the computer to help us find the rep. It also helps us appear more organized.
We tried a "competition" approach where the first rep to answer the call got the lead. This method didn't work for us because all the reps equally helped each other out and worked as a team, so there was no real competition in our department. We went back to splitting the alphabet.
Thanks, Rene!
Interesting! I'm curious...does anyone else use the "split the alphabet" approach?

what is the best way to obtain leads
Thank you for posting in our forum, Nicole. There are many ways to obtain inquiries (correct verbiage in today's higher education environment). The key is to find the most qualified for your school. How do you currently obtain leads?
