What have you learned from this module and how do you intend to apply it?
I learned the importance of adhering to the guidelines set forth in the state of Florida governing the ways in which Admissions personnel at vocational and higher education institutions engage with prospective students. By upholding these guidelines, it creates consistency across institutions and normalizes best practices among Admissions personnel.
What I took away is create a positive and supportive atmosphere in your school and keep a pulse on day to day operations and activities. Even when there is not a request or issue, students, like all of us, still need to feel special. It is easy to focus on the complainers and ignore our customers from whom we seldom hear.
