All campuses should have access to information
Our school has several campuses. All Financial Aid is directed through one campus, so communication is vital.
Richard,
Your model of centralized process can be difficult; however, it is a great way to control multi-campuses to ensure that students are completing the accurate documents and all policies are being followed. Do you have weekly calls to ensure the team is processing timely? I would assume you have internal tools (such as reporting, dashboards, etc.) to effectively manage the process from a central location.
Sincerely, Chyrl
We do communicate weekly by phone and email for updates or issues
Richard,
Communicate is a key component in the overal success of most projects. As long as your team is communicating via phone and email any outstanding items should be resolved.

Another way that we make sure that everyone is on the same page & to guarantee uniformity is to rotate financial aid personnel.

Laura,
Your point is very important and more departments could benefit from cross-training. The more cross-training all of us do in our areas the stronger team will be in their area and other aspects of the department. Great practice.
Best wishes in your continued online educational journey.
Sincerely,

when provided with accurate inforation the students get a better understanding of what they are supposed to be dealing with.
Jacqueline,
Agree providing accurate information is important in establishing a successful relationship with your students. Your students (and prospective students) need to know that your are the experts and will assist when necessary. Providing good customer service starts with providing accurate and timely information.

We also have several locations and all our processing is done in one main office. Communication has to be key in order to have everyone of the same page. We tend to have short weekly pow-wow in order to see each other face to face , discuss anything , and anwser any questions.
Nicole,
Communication in all forms are necessary when multi-campuses are being processed. Great way to ensure that communication is your weekly pow-wow's. It is critical that all campuses and the teams are handling the process timely and accurately based on standard operating procedures.
Sincerely, Chyrl

My school has multiple campuses as well. To ensure accuracy and uniformity we have one auditing team that reviews each of the campuses files.
