Being a “Model, Manager, and Motivator” is a new concept for me. I have always known to act in a professional manner but never thinking about how this 3 in 1 model can really change the way students see you as their instructor. If someone were to ask me prior to taking this course how I viewed being a “manager,” I would have immediately just thought about all the ways the instructor is responsible for taking control over the class. I never thought about all the things that need to happen prior to the class starting and how those responsibilities can really impact the tone of the class.
