Institutional excellence is a result of exemplary leadership. This group is for those currently serving in leadership roles or those who aspire to lead. Group members engage in self-awareness and self-reflection, and discuss the leadership skills necessary to maximize performance outcomes. Members share best practices, ideas, thoughts, reflections, and resources to help colleagues across the globe.
Based on what I have learned, I believe that in order to be a well rounded leader, it is important to have the qualities of both a manager and a leader. They share similar responsibilities.
Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
