From this module, I learned that global competence is essential in today’s interconnected world. It involves being aware, curious, and able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, while considering multiple perspectives. These skills are crucial in a global economy, where businesses look for employees who can navigate international challenges and collaborate across cultures.
I intend to apply this in my future work as a teacher by integrating global perspectives into my lessons. For example, when teaching about the Internet of Things (IoT), I could use real-world case studies that highlight how different countries use IoT technologies to solve global challenges, such as smart cities, environmental monitoring, or healthcare innovations <3
