What I learned in this topic is how compliance relates to advisements. I totally get the compliance in regard to admissions; regulations, requirements and risk management. My first thought has been "data" as it relates to advertisement. Data because of what has to be collected and what the information gathered tells us about individuals. I never thought of the regulations that come with compliance and how it can determine how the brand is viewed and represented. The restriction of verbiage to prevent risk of lawsuit, due to an unfulfilled promise of "guarantee." Compliance is a really a broad ranged necessity!
