<p>@ellythomas : I resently had a similar porblem with my class, I took a chance and &nbsp;called on &nbsp;the person by name, then&nbsp;ask a closed questions based on the informtion&nbsp;I had just covered. The students&nbsp;silence was noted by the class. She appologized for her side conversation, and we moved on. It seemed to work as the entire class was engaged during the remaining time.</p>
