<p>I continually reinforce them then offer them a different view in opening the door to answering questions.&nbsp; They are naturally drawn to understand which leads to better grades.&nbsp; It is the inital reinforcement and encouragement that has them compete with themselves (and other students) for the better grade.&nbsp; The validation of the grade is not only the reward for their effort but also the inherent incentive for the next grade.</p>
