If 'non traditional' career trade schools is defined as online programs; I have found that online career trade school programs are a challenge. Students are very hands-on and suddenly find themselves on a computer completing homework and research instead of in an environment where they can touch, see and smell coursework! When this career student excels at online, I find it is a huge win for the industry - adding technological skills to your portfolio is not a bad thing!
