This course was very interesting because it dealt with how we commuicate with others on a variety of levels. For me personally, the majority of my interaction with students is written communication via email. Although I already had an understanding of the importance of checking your writing before sending it off, after this course i realized that refining and polishing one's writing is more essential than I realized. In many cases I am rushing to get back to someone and try to respond right away. While prompt responses are important, it is also important to maintain a professonial atmosphere to show students that you can be trusted and are reliable. 

In the future, for important emails and written communication, I hope to write the document, wait for a few hours (or day if possible), then come back and give the document a final review before sending. Having others proof my work is also a huge help. 

I am excited to grow profesionnally in my communication with customers.
