Learning, Instruction and Multiple intelligences.

As an instructor it is important to know that people learn differenf ways, and that multiple intelligences are what we will come across when we teach students.  I want to be able to reach all my students, and cater to their preferences of learning so they do well in class, graduate, and become productive members of society.  I believe that everyone can be taught, just in different ways.  My dental career courses and classes are put up that I will have a one on one contact with the student, know their learning preferences, and guide them with what they have learned through the process.  I see it as a joy when learners try their best to do well and become productive members of society.

I agree! Every student has a individual style of learning and this course provided great insight as to not only why but how to apply leasons that will capture each student.

As I continue my teaching career, I am finding it easier to reach my virtual students than my ground students.  It is as if my ground students are disengaged.  I am taking into account that everyone learns differently, and trying to find ways to capture the attention of these different learning styles.  But at the end of the day, I feel as if I am falling short, and I am failing my students.  Therefore, I am considering adding social media as component for these classes, and EL110 adds validity to my decision.
