Continued Ed

Even though most have many years as Admissions Reps, we still need to make sure that we stay on top of any new rules/regs.

Best Practice

It's always helpful to review my role as an Admission Representative to ensure that I'm following the rules and regulations of ECA. Weekly meeting also is crucial to keep us updated as a group as well. Interacting with peers has also been successful.

Admissions Training

This training was very informative when needing to know policies and procedures of the Admissions Department. I was able to create a resource notebook very easily from the training which will help keep me up with accredidation, policies, procedures, and state laws, and the responsibilities of the Admissions Officer.

FEEDBACK

I found this training to be effective and useful. For me, it is mostly valuable for tarining my current and future staff.

Student first

It should always be 100% about the student.

Best Practices

I always like to keep nformed on changes statuses and laws reguarding admissions. This was helpful for me to over come and enroll students. knowledge is power.

Reviewing Information

As a reflective to what I have learned, I plan on reading and writing out information obtained from Florida Department of Education in order to implement effective practices in support students registration process for the program in which I work.

REFLEXION

Es imperante mantenerse informado de los estandares que se requieren para pertenecer y mantenerse al tanto de las nuevas practicas de la educacion.

cm201

Easy to use site and course.

Team work

It's not the effort everyone puts in but the effect it makes when we work as a TEAM! Communication between students, staff and faculty is the key word!!!

Team work

Making sure that everyone in the work place knows rules, regulations and policies of the institution. Making sure when changes are made that everyone is aware of them. Team work is not the effort that everyone does but the effect it makes when we work together!!! :o)

Action Plan

This course provides great information. I have learned the importance of the Resource Notebook and to stay up-to-date in all areas of the institution, including program offerings, job placement rates for each program and other relevant industry information. I will continue reading the course catalog and keeping the communication with personnel to know more information about the different departments.

Second Careerers

Dealing with many older individuals I find that it is ti our best interest to help them from beginning to end. They are already frightened and scared about the unknown so a little encouragement, your help and guidance goes a long way

Be helpful

Honesty and the ability to help a student get through the paperwork is stressful so having you to to guide them is important .

Paying attention

Going through the course I was able to pick up on key terms and jargon used in our industry.

Admissions Training is Ongoing

Laws change, and Admissions Representatives must keep updated with all the updates to be able to answer the questions of prospective students. This is a noble career in which truly help people in changing their lives, help them succeed and get a better quality of life that also help their families. Giving them the right information is crucial!

Admissions is Admissions

The times may change, the people infornt of us most certainly change. But compliance is compliance no matter what. Follow the rules, and you'll be fine.

very good

It was a good experience for me
