I just  completed the training course on the Use of Copyrighted materials in the classroom.  This course was very informative and provided a wealth of information about U.S. Copyright Laws. The course presented a historical overview and examples of the various types of creative and scientific works that are protected by copyright laws.  The course also presented step by step guidelines on the process of  how to obtain permission to use a copyrighted work in course materials or classroom activities.  This course is a very important cores for all educators, especially since the new laws developed due to the internet.
