I am really inspired by the many trainings I received in effecitive communication within Admissions. One of the most important things I learned within these modules and learning how to listen attentively in order to best assist anyone in general. One of the things I will always implement from now on is talking to people using their names. I had no clue how important this was and how it makes a difference. Learning how to read body language and using mirror language is also crucial in our type of working enviornment in order to determine if we are indeed doing a good job or not. I not only intend to use this at work but at home as well. I realized just how crucial it is for me to listen to my family without interrupting in order to make or have a successful talk/outcome.
