What questions are you asking that you feel are one getting the potential student to talk more and two get excited about signing up for classes?
I am new so any advice you may have I would really appreciate it.
In order to reach todays students a teahcer must diverse in there teaching methods. Alot of instructor love giving power point presentation to get there material across ,however must student are kinesthetic learners. Been able to enage the student in active participation is the key for a sucessful student to teacher relationship.
First i think you should ask what they are looking for. Some times prospective students don’t know exactly what they want. But sometimes they are looking for what you offer.
What I consider most important is to show your prospective students that you know what is going on out there. But on top of everything let them find them self’s on the carriers you offer.
I am always successful with getting my students to open up more when I ask them the following questions. Describe to me what you picture your life being in 5 years without continuing your education? Now describe for me what you picture your life being with education?
