The Teaching in Career Education Group is for instructors teaching in career education institutions to discuss topics related to instruction and student learning.
This course was a great! It stimulated my interest in assessing myself. Having thought about some of
my previous teaching experiences, I have a new perspective with which to proceed with instruction.
This course was valuable not only for first time teachers but for seasoned instructors as well. It is a fresh reminder of the tools needed to be effective in the classroom including preparation, delivery methods and assessment tools.
I throughly enjoyed this course. I will take with me what I've learned and apply it. Sometimes we as instructors have to step back and get back to the basic training lessons to remind us that there is an abundance of teaching tools out there that are avaiable to us.
This was a useful class -- I've already started to incorporate the code of social conduct into my classes next semester. The information about generational differences was great, too. Thanks!
I agree. This class was very useful. It gave me insight in how to manage a class in the online environment.
I enjoyed this course. The information was to the point and very useful. I will definitely incorporate what I’ve learned from this course into my classes.
The course has been very helpful and so insightful. I will be sure to implement what I have learned and
apply it in the classroom. It just makes sense.
