I am a relatively new Instructor and This course The Strategirs of Class Management will benefit me in many ways. I think the most beneficial part of this course for me was learning about the syllabus. Realizing that it sets the climate for the class. Informs students of class policies,assignments and deadlines. Giving the students more information on the relevance of the structure of the course. And gives students a sense of excitement about the course.And students receiving this information will help them understand expectations and the outcomes in a clearer way. I also found the cohort information very beneficial. As I could have used this informationin the the first class I ever taught.

I am also a relatively new instructor and I enjoyed the Class Management Strategies class very much.  It seems the information presented in this course is based on real psychology and sociology concepts.  How we think and how we communicate are so important.  I now realize that when I first started teaching, I probably came off as very cold to the students.  I was so nervous about my abilities and also worried about the students trying to take advantage of my newness.  Now I really enjoy all my communication opportunities with the students, and I think that the students feel I am more approachable now.
