Break the ice!

Welcome to the brand new Placement Performance Group! Simply put, this is the 80-20 rule in action! It’s probably safe to say that 20% of development is through formal training and 80% is through informal learning. We learn by doing and by sharing. So let’s get our learning community for Placement started. Who is going to break the ice?

 

I just finished the training and I have to say "I love it" I learned so much in past few weeks just by reading and observing the discussions and comments form fellow Placement Group.I am sure once I start using all the tools of knowledge in place I will enjoy my work more then now..

I completed the training it was made me open my eyes to things we were missing in our department. I realize I must really get back in the classrooms the stress the importance of resume writing, professionalism in the work place, telephone techiques as wellas interviewing skills. I have had several outside visitor come just so the student can have it from a employers point of view not a administrator on campus.

I completed the course, but I'm not sure right now how it applies to my position within the school.  I will think about what I learned over the next few weeks and see how it will impact my career.

 

 

I just completed training and it was a good to be re-newed again. We do tend to drift of course alittle and forget about the little things we do to be more successful.  

I appreciate the opportunity to be "renewed" as well. It is funny how we get so into our jobs that we forget the foundation of which it all works off of. Thanks for creating this opportunity!
