Hello,

I teach at a secondary school for Medical Billing and Coding. Teaching adults, I make sure they know that we are a team, we treat the classroom like an office, and I reassure them they are doing amazing. The majority of my students are first-time graduates. I make sure that when I go over the material, I do it in a manner that is real world and not just the workbook or textbook. I make sure that I remind them how amazing they are and how great they can be. I make sure that we get lots of hands-on in the classroom and make myself available when they are not on campus. It is a balance and it is exciting to watch them learn and reach for their goals.
