ED 101 Instructor Development

I thought some of the course was informational but being a seasoned instructor already this would have been more beneficial in the beginning. A suggestion to a new instrutor is to take this course.

I agree that a good deal of this course content is learned as we grow in out teaching experiences.  It is also important not to lose sight of these concepts or become complacent in our application of them.  I found the course informative and engaging and it focuses on the student needs and motivations for why they behave in the ways they do sometimes.  It also helped me to understand the different learning disabilities student's have, which I found most useful.

this was a good refresher for me. I recommend this course for new instructors also 102,103 and 104

I almost skipped this course as the asessment suggested I start at 104 but I am glad I took itecause it reminded me of several things I had forgotten after not teaching for several years. I was in fact inspired to rewrite my next class presentation and I think the students are going to be pleasently surprised with the results. Its a good course whether or not you are an experienced teacher.

I'm going to include some teaching games to help break up the lecture.

I agree, as a new instructor, this course would have been of great benefit for me in the beginning. I since have taken the course and found it very helpful

I thought the same thing. I was suprised there was not something like this set in place that was a requirement for new hires.  Maybe this can be put into effect sometime soon.
