I couldn't agree with you more.  As I read through one of the forums the other night,  I really had to laugh at how one

of the instructors solved the problem of cell phones in the classroom.  She dressed sloppily and came into the classroom

 and slammed her books on the desk.  Then proceeded to sit in the chair and put her feet on the desk and began

talking on her cell phone!  The students didn't know what to make of it!  They began laughing, and then she said to

them that this is the way they behaved when they came to class.  I laughed when I read this, but I vowed I would try

this one morning in class.  Hopefully this will solve the cell phone problem I have in my class too.       Donna
